“Black Venus” is a rhythmic study that celebrates and highlights the joy, excitement and dopeness of Black women. The intention is to dismantle these labels and honor the feminine energy of Black women. To balance hundreds of years of Black women taking on masculine energies to protect themselves and save their families. Told through the lens of their femininity and their softer facets, including their sensuality and confidence; Black Venus uses images and videos of black women personifying natural and mystical elements of nature and space.
