2023 Grip & Electric Workshop (MTP)
After two months of learning about film and production in the classroom, our 2023 MTP cohort headed on set for their grip and electric workshop facilitated by Martins Esho (Gaffer Mentor), Khanya Alexis (Grip Mentor) and Roham Abtahi (Electric Mentor). The workshop was held with the goal of introducing basic set safety fundamentals along with the introduction of roles and expectations of the Gaffer, Grip and Electric on-set. Through both academic and practical training, the participants learned beginner principals that allow them to navigate sets with confidence.
