2022 Indigenous Production Assistant Training Program: Mock Set

For the final workshop, our IPATP participants took part in a mock set, recreating a scene from the film MARRIAGE STORY. Led by industry professionals Sean Turrell (Director), Alex Han, (DP), Elfred Kim (1st AC), Morgan Spence (Set Dec), Samuel Mapaderun (Key Grip), and Kevin Brown (Sound Recordist)—the mock set gave participants hand on experience working in-studio at AstroLab Studios.

Participants shadowed the crew in the departments they were interested in and got to put their knowledge to use as they helped bring the scene to life. Special thanks to Juliette Louie and Abbas Wahab for being our actors for the scene.
