Black Women Film Canada: Internship Program (Montréal & Toronto)

Do you love film and media? Do you want to get involved in our industry programming and meet some of the most amazing Black women working in the business?

Join Black Women Film Canada and gain hands-on experience while learning more about the industry and helping Black women thrive!

We're looking for high-energy BIPOC people who want to participate in our Black Women Film Internship Program this spring/summer.

If you're looking for a unique opportunity that will allow you to connect with other people who share your passion for film, then this is it! You will have access to our network of talented filmmakers and professionals so that you will connect and meet amazing Black women in the industry. It is also an opportunity for those who want exposure in the media/film industry by being able to showcase their skills.

This year our BWF intern will assist with administrative duties and support our master class programs alongside supporting the general administrative duties that are required to run a not-for-profit. Previous office, production and events experience is an asset.

Intern must be able to work on site and remotely either in Montreal or Toronto 1 - 2 days per week, with additional event hours where needed.

Demonstrated interest in media, film and/or not for profit management preferred

Montreal office : Notman House (Plateau)

Toronto Office : East Room (Leslieville)

Bilingual (French & English) essential if Montreal based.

Internship includes a monthly stipend of $400
